It's Christmas time in Cuckfield...
9th December 2019
It was a thrilling sight at Holy Trinity Church in Cuckfield last weekend when 78 beautifully decorated Christmas trees filled the church for the annual Holy Trinity Christmas Tree Festival which ran from December 6th to 8th. We were delighted to be able to take part and decorate one of the trees again this year, with the theme of "We've got it covered".
The event held annually as part of the village’s Christmas celebrations partners up with a specific charity to raise much needed funds. This year’s partner charity was Alzheimer’s Society.
The idea is that organisations, including schools, charities, societies and businesses from the local area come together each sponsoring a tree decorating it to tell a story or convey a message. Musical performances of all varieties run each day in the church helping create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Well done Holy Trinity for another successful festival!
(If you did not get to go along this year we highly recommend it for 2020. More details can be found by following the link: http://www.cuckfieldctf.org.uk/ )
